That yellow sphere in the sky

Today, the sun came out.

On the plus side, we finally got our April vacation during the last week.
Cool. Cooler. Cold. Damp. Gray.

It made this morning all the sweeter. Warm - not hot - breezy (no bugs) -
perfect weather for weeding. And NOT weeding books, either!

Hard to believe that just one week ago we were all in Ossipee at the
Tech Fair. The start of a long, hopefully hot, summer.

We are still working on the ICT site. Communicating about the merging
of the High School and Middle School collections - as we work with our
associates on decisions that will determine just how easily our merge
occurs and how much (little??) work we'll still have to do come September.

Now, the decision: just what book will I be reading at the beach tomorrow???

Good Morning!
I thought I'd take advantage of a blog to document the merging process of the Kingswood LMCs which is scheduled to take place - meaning the process will begin - in September, 2011. As exciting as this opportunity is, I find it also fraught with anxiety and apprehension. Overriding all concern, however, is the fact that the people I will now be working with on a daily basis are smart, funny women who are also creative, dynamic educators with the best interests of STUDENTS as the driver of everything they do. AND they/we don't take ourselves too seriously, if at all....

Please follow what promises to be a saga of epic proportions as we dispense (with) drama and laugh together on our way elsewhere.
